A native to the East Coast, Lauren joins the Foundation from Boston, where she worked as a consultant for a strategic market research firm. Before that she lived in Israel, working as an English teacher and coordinating academic conferences sponsored by the Centre for the Study of European Politics and Society at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Lauren enjoys traveling and most recently spent time as a volunteer in Uganda, where she worked in a foster home and taught health and nutrition classes to local women’s empowerment groups. Lauren holds a B.A. in international relations from Mount Holyoke College.
