The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation partnered with the Energy Foundation and Packard Foundation to host the Global Warming, Land Use and Infrastructure Investment Policy meeting in Half Moon Bay, CA on March 8-9th.
This past November, California voters passed $42 million worth of bond measures to invest in infrastructure. At the meeting in March, these three foundations convened members of the governor's administration, members of the California State Senate and Assembly, and various climate and urban growth experts, providing an opportunity for legislators and administration officials to discuss ideas and plans for bond implementation.
