About this publication

For more than two decades, The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation played a substantial role in developing and supporting the field of conflict resolution.

As the Hewlett Foundation winds down its support to conflict resolution in December 2004, both the Foundation and the field reflect upon a program that has been in many ways remarkable and distinctive among philanthropic endeavors.
