Sherri Hansen
Research Associate, Global Development Program
Sherri joined the Global Development team in April 2008 as research associate. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with Honors from Stanford University with a B.A. in Political Science. As an undergraduate, Sherri interned at the State Department in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor and worked as a Research Assistant for Michael McFaul on his forthcoming book about U.S. democracy promotion strategies. She also spent time in Sierra Leone doing research on child soldier usage and was the recipient of the 2007 William J. Perry Award for excellence in policy-relevant research in international security studies.
