Jillian Misrack Galbete
Jillian Misrack Galbete serves as a grants officer in the Hewlett Foundation’s Grants Management Department. She works directly with the Foundation’s Education Program and Special Initiatives to facilitate their grantmaking. Before joining the Hewlett Foundation, Jillian worked for Pacific Community Ventures, as Program Manager, connecting entrepreneurs with resources they need to run and grow their businesses successfully. Jillian worked hands-on with volunteer business advisors, entrepreneurs, and partner communities. Prior to that, she was the Vice President, Community Investments at Full Circle Fund, overseeing grantmaking strategy operations and compliance, and managed AOL Time Warner’s West Coast grantmaking and employee engagement programs. Jillian also served on The Volunteer Center of San Francisco and San Mateo County Board of Directors as Board Chair and Co-Chaired Northern California Grantmakers Public Policy Committee. Jillian, an organ donor, volunteers for the California Donor Transplant Network, educating people about organ and tissue donation.
Jillian earned her B.A. in history from San Francisco State University and has completed coursework at Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship.
