Rachel Quint

Rachel Quint is a Fellow in the Global Development and Population Program, focusing on the Foundation’s cross-cutting work on the Post-2015 Development Agenda.

Before joining the Hewlett Foundation, Rachel lived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where she worked in the UN World Food Programme’s Africa Office, serving as a liaison to the African Union on a variety of issues, including the Post-2015 development goals. She also served as a technical leader for an African Union research intitiaitve to estimate the social and economic impact of child under-nutrition in twelve countries in Africa. Prior to that, Rachel worked for the International Rescue Committee, supporting refugee and host community programming in Ethiopia, and served as a summer fellow for the Flora Family Foundation in 2009.

Rachel holds an M.A. in African Studies, and a B.A. in International Relations, both from Stanford University.
