Communications Project Manager
Stephanie Carnow is the Communications Project Manager for The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Before joining the Foundation, Stephanie managed communications and development projects for several environmentally-focused nonprofits. Stephanie spent five years managing communications projects for WildAid, an international wildlife conservation organization dedicated to endangered species protection and eliminating illegal wildlife trafficking. Additionally, she was a development consultant and grantwriter for Costa Verde International School and Sustainable Resource Center, Mexico’s first “green” primary school, and acted as a project consultant for the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation (MJP), a Millennium Village Project in northwestern Cambodia, for which she has subsequently provided content review and recommendations for MJP’s website and reports.
Stephanie has a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Colorado State University and an M.A. in Geography from San Francisco State University.
