International Aid Transparency Initiative

As part of the Hewlett Foundation’s commitment to transparency and accountability, we are a signatory to the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI), the first private foundation to participate. IATI is mainly comprised of bilateral and multilateral funders committed to openness in where their aid money goes and how it is spent. Additional information about IATI is available on the IATI website.
As part of Phase 1, we are sharing information related to our international grantmaking. This information is posted here, as well as on the official IATI registry, where all data from participating organizations will be available.
We are also sharing our Implementation Schedule, detailing how we are fulfilling our commitments to IATI.
You can learn more about our international grantmaking by visiting our Global Development Program’s webpages and our Population Program’s pages on international access to family planning and training, research, and advocacy.
