Overview
Rhythmix Cultural Works is an active cultural center located in the island city of Alameda. Each year it presents nearly 100 performing arts events, visual arts exhibitions, classes, and workshops for more than 8,000 children and adults. Since it opened in 2007, the organization has established itself as a community center where locals can experience outstanding performances as well as interact with artists and others with creative interests. The 5,000-square-foot facility features a large multipurpose performance space and several classrooms that are frequently utilized by other arts organizations and community members in need of a family-friendly gathering space. Recommended for first time support, Rhythmix Cultural Works would continue its efforts to build staff, audiences, and donors.
