Stanford Jazz Workshop brings prominent jazz artists to teach and perform in the Bay Area each summer. Its four main programs include an annual all-ages Jazz Residency, a summer Jazz Camp for young people aged 12 to 17, the annual Stanford Jazz Festival, and a smaller year-round after-school jazz program for middle and high school students. The two-week camp and one-week residency serve more than 800 participants, with scholarships available to approximately 20% of its students. This grant to Stanford Jazz Workshop advances the Youth strategy through the Program Delivery substrategy.
