Grantseekers

The Hewlett Foundation concentrates its grantmaking around its core program areas: education, environment, global development, performing arts, philanthropy, and population. In addition, the Foundation makes grants to support disadvantaged communities in the Bay Area.

We ask that all organizations interested in applying for grants carefully read the information available on the Web site about the Foundation’s programs and priority areas. We generally do not fund outside these specific strategic areas.

Only three areas are currently accepting unsolicited letters of inquiry for new funding:
