Armine Avetisyan joined the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation in January 2015 as Program Associate in Education. She provides grantmaking support to two program officers in the deeper learning strategy.
Previously, Armine worked at UniversalGiving as senior associate of corporate social responsibility and nonprofit services. She provided NGO vetting and due diligence services to corporations and foundations. Before moving to the United States in 2009, Armine lived in Armenia, where she worked at the Translation Center of the Ministry of Justice and at a private foundation focused on social and economic development of rural areas of the country.
Armine holds a master’s degree in diplomacy and international relations of the European Union from College of Europe in Belgium, where she studied on a full scholarship from the European Commission. She also has B.A. and M.A. and B.A. in international relations from Yerevan State University in Armenia.
