The Nonprofit Marketplace
The Hewlett Foundation’s Philanthropy Program – in partnership with McKinsey and Company – developed a paper, The Nonprofit Marketplace: Bridging the Information Gap in Philanthropy, which offers a roadmap to a stronger nonprofit marketplace. This paper attempts to answer two related questions:
- How can we help donors make good decisions?
- How do we get more money to the highest-performing and highest-potential nonprofits?
The paper will also serve as a tool to engage a broader set of stakeholders which we believe are important to strengthening the nonprofit marketplace – banks, financial advisors, search engines, software companies, and others.
