Overview
This grant will support technical modeling of electricity grids in the U.S. and China. The modeling will be used to develop policies and market structures that will reduce carbon emissions from the electricity grid by 80-100 percent by 2050. These results will be used by Hewlett Foundation grantees to advance these policies in regulatory and stakeholder oversight bodies.
