Grants to this Grantee
for Western Public Lands protection
This renewal grant will support the Pew Charitable Trusts’ Western Public Lands Campaign, which works with communities to advance policies that protect national public lands of the American West.
for support of the House Chiefs of Staff project
The Pew Charitable Trusts lays the foundation for effective policies and practices by invigorating civic life, conducting research, informing and engaging citizens, linking diverse interests to pursue a common cause, and insisting on tangible results. Pew’s Safe Spaces Project provides a nonpartisan, nonpolitical "safe space" to foster bipartisan relationship building and management best practices that can lead to better informed and more effective public policy. This grant will enable Pew to continue its work with chiefs of staff in the U.S. House of Representatives in an effort to build, strengthen, and sustain a bipartisan organization that will foster relationships, share best practices, and strengthen the capacity of Congress.
for support of the International Boreal Conservation Campaign
This special initiative renewal grant will support the Pew Trusts’ work with the International Boreal Conservation Campaign to secure permanent protection for half of Canada’s 1.2 billion-acre boreal forest. The Trust works closely with First Nations, sportsmen, and the Canadian public in its efforts to achieve its boreal conservation goals.
