Plug in America is a coalition of business and advocates that work to accelerate the shift to plug-in vehicles powered by clean, affordable, domestic electricity to reduce dependence on oil and to improve the global environment. With this recommended grant, Plug In America will conduct an landscape assessment of the existing efforts to scale up electric vehicles nation-wide, and will identify the key elements to overcome the common barriers for the transition to this clean technology.

Plug In America is an association of businesses and advocates that work to accelerate the shift for vehicles powered by clean electricity to reduce dependence on oil and improve the global environment. With this general support grant, Plug In America will work in key states with Zero Emissions Mandates or other electric mobility policies to support their implementation with timely information to policymakers and consumers, through national events such as the National Electric Drive week.

Plug In America is a coalition of businesses and advocates that work to accelerate the shift to plug-in vehicles powered by clean, affordable, domestic electricity to reduce dependence on oil and improve the global environment. With this grant, Plug In America will work in key states -- nationally and at the federal level -- to convey timely information to policymakers on the rationale for supporting the emerging plug-in vehicle market with smart policy. Electric vehicle technologies offer improvements in distributed clean energy supply, in addition to reducing tailpipe emissions, which provide a range of benefits to consumers and public health in the United States.
