for general operating support
San Francisco Boys Chorus is one of the nation’s oldest choral groups for boys, an award-winning organization that is committed to providing high-quality music instruction, performance, and touring opportunities. The Chorus serves 200 boys, ranging in age from five to 18, from 100 Bay Area schools at instruction sites in San Francisco, Oakland, and San Rafael. Performances and free public events reach more than 75,000 people annually. A renewal grant will provide support while the organization negotiates its lease, and continues to determine future leadership and enrollment strategies in preparation for its 70th Anniversary in 2018.
