Nathalie Scholl

Program Associate, Gender Equity and Governance

Nathalie Scholl is a Program Associate in Gender Equity and Governance at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Nathalie provides administrative and grantmaking support to the program’s strategy to expand women’s opportunities, including increased access to reproductive health services.

Prior to joining the foundation in 2006, Nathalie worked as an independent graphic designer with clients in the technology industry and public sector.

She moved to the United States in 1999 from Stuttgart, Germany, where she taught English at Daimler AG. And for eight years, she worked as an economic assistant in the general economic policy section at the U.S. Embassy in Paris.

Nathalie graduated from the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, France, with an equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish applied to international trade, and was an exchange student at San Francisco State University for two years. She is a native French speaker and also fluent in Spanish.
